Bygone Era Train No 131

Steam locomotive No. 131, built in Glasgow in 1901 for the Great Northern Railway (Ireland), recently stopped at my local station in Athenry, Co. Galway. I photographed this steam train because for its timeless beauty and nostalgia. The billowing steam, elegant design, and vintage carriages transport me to a bygone era. Each shot captures the power, grace, and intricate details of these machines, along with the dedication of those who work on them, preserving a mesmerizing piece of history.
